Strength and Conditioning

roomWhile Mark works with clients of all ages and fitness levels, he specializes in training young athletes to become stronger, faster, and more confident.  It is important to begin exercise the right way, especially for children, before injury or bad habits can take hold.  With a thorough and well rounded program in place, it becomes fun and competitive for your child to improve their athletic skills, while teaching goal setting, dedication, sportsmanship, and the way to a healthy lifestyle.

Training sessions begin with a one on one consultation to discuss a client's health history and any concerns or precautions necessary.  A physical assessment will include measurements and muscle testing.  This will lead us to goal setting and developing a personalized plan.  A program, include session length and frequency, is then designed around the ideas and goals discussed in the consultation process.

A complete training program implements more than just the traditional strength training exercises.  Also included in the program will be exercises for mobility, balance and stabilization, dynamic movement, and range of motion.
